Grasshot Inc – Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Grasshot Inc (“Grasshot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) processes, ships, and delivers orders made through our website [www.grasshot.com].

By placing an order, you agree to all terms outlined below, including our limited liability for shipping-related issues and our use of third-party fulfillment services.

1. Order Processing Timeline

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
  • Processing time refers to internal preparation, quality control, packing, and label generation.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST may be processed the following business day.
  • Processing delays may occur due to order volume, verification issues, payment problems, or stock adjustments.

Note: Order processing time is separate from delivery time. Delivery estimates begin after your order has shipped.

2. Fulfillment Model & Use of Third Parties

To ensure efficient and nationwide delivery, Grasshot may fulfill your order through third-party warehouses, logistics partners, or authorized resellers.

This means:

  • Your order may ship from different locations depending on inventory and geography.
  • Your personal and delivery information (name, address, phone, email) may be securely shared with our third-party partners exclusively for fulfillment and delivery purposes.

Grasshot is not responsible for any delays, damages, or service failures caused by third-party carriers or fulfillment centers, but we will provide support to resolve issues whenever possible.

3. Shipping Methods & Timeframes

We offer the following shipping tiers at checkout:

Please Note:

  • All delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Delivery delays may occur due to weather, holidays, carrier backlogs, or other external factors beyond our control.

4. Shipping Fees & Promotions

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected method.
  • Any free shipping offers will be clearly stated on applicable promotions.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where Grasshot is responsible for the error.

5. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you. It is your responsibility to:

  • Monitor the tracking status.
  • Ensure someone is available to receive the package.
  • Contact the carrier directly for delivery updates or issues.

Grasshot is not liable for missed deliveries, unclaimed packages, or redelivery delays caused by customer unavailability.

6. Risk of Loss & Transfer of Title

All orders are shipped F.O.B. Origin. This means:

  • Title and risk of loss transfer to you as soon as we hand the package over to the carrier.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or delay once the package leaves our facility or our third-party fulfillment partner’s facility.
  • You are encouraged to purchase signature-required or insured shipping if delivery location has a history of lost/stolen packages.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Grasshot is not liable for lost or stolen packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier.

If your order appears lost or is marked delivered but not received:

  1. Check with neighbors, building management, or mailbox area.
  2. Confirm the shipping address on your order confirmation.
  3. Contact the carrier for an investigation or file a claim.
  4. Contact our support team within 5 business days of the marked delivery date.

Grasshot may, at its sole discretion, offer assistance but does not guarantee replacements or refunds for lost/stolen packages.

8. Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Orders

You are solely responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.

  • Grasshot is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible addresses.
  • If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, we will notify you via email.
    • You may request reshipment by paying an additional shipping fee.
    • If unclaimed within 7 days, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund, minus shipping and restocking fees.

9. Shipping Area & Restrictions

  • Grasshot currently ships to all 50 U.S. states.
  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, U.S. territories, or international destinations at this time.
  • Certain addresses may be excluded due to carrier restrictions or fraud risk.

10. Shipping Insurance

Grasshot does not automatically insure all shipments. If you would like your order to be protected in case of loss or damage during transit:

  • Choose a shipping option that includes insurance at checkout, if available.
  • Contact us before placing your order if you need to upgrade coverage.

11. Multiple Shipments

If your order contains multiple items, they may ship separately from different warehouses or sellers.

You will receive individual tracking numbers if your order ships in more than one package.

12. Force Majeure

Grasshot shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in shipping or delivery due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather
  • Labor strikes
  • Customs delays
  • Shipping carrier disruptions
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or government-imposed restrictions
